An interesting concoction that mother nature has created here, for sure. The Kiwi bird is native to New Zealand and is the reason we call New Zealanders 'Kiwis'. The birds are the only species to have nostrils, they do not have tail feathers, and they have whiskers like a cat. Oh, and they can't fly. The people do not suffer from such problems (they have passports) but perhaps their national bird helps remind them of all the good things they have in life.
