The older we get, the more evident it becomes that we all carry our own burdens of traumas and behavioral issues, some more than others but nevertheless, we all come with baggage. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the way we were raised the generational transfer of unresolved issues and unexpressed emotions. 

When you really think about it, every generation is a reflection of its era, shaped by societal values and cultural norms. As a result, the methods of upbringing vary from one generation to the next, depending on what's 'in' this season. So while we inherit our grandparents' legacies, we also inherit their unhealed wounds and psychological scars that they failed to deal with themselves, leaving it up to us to take on therapy and break the cycle.
