One of the best things about being a cat owner is watching your cat sleep. And no, that's not creepy, we swear. Cats can fall asleep anywhere and look cozy. Cats can fall asleep in the weirdest positions and still look like they're having the time of their life. Cats sleeping is an adorable thing, and it doesn't get any less adorable with time, no matter how long you have your cats. You know why? Because a cat sleeping next to you means that they feel comfortable enough and safe enough to do so, and that's an amazing thing.
So, we watch them sleep, and with the amount of time that they sleep, we even notice some things. Did you know that cats dream? We did. But what we didn't know what that... apparently, cats can have nightmares too. There's no way for us to control it. We can only offer them as much comfort and love as we can whenever it happens.

Honestly, as cat owners who have never seen their cats have nightmares either, we probably would have been so spooked to see that happen too. No, cats' dreams should only be about chasing birds and eating snacks and getting petted, and that's it. Cats having nightmares should be illegal.
We do have to say that this grumpy fella looks adorable though. We hope that you gave him many cuddles and snacks and love after this happened. He's certainly grumpy enough after this dream to look like he deserves it.
