It is that time of the week again ladies and gentlemen boys and girl, awwnimals of all kinds gather round for your weekly dose of wholesome mid-week memes from the animal kingdom, because we have all got to get over the hump somehow and what better way to do that than a whole bunch of awwdorable, heart-warming, knee melting, soul nourishing animal memes. We are already starting to feel the first tingles of fall and that means a change is a coming. Soon the leaves will turn from lustrous green to a medley of browns, reds and yellows, and our animal friends will begin making their preparations for the coming winter.

However, animals in the wild prepare for winter in a slightly different way to our domesticated pets. For example, in the wild a squirrel might make one last effort to find and stock up on as many nuts as possible, whereas a housebound anaconda might be seen gathering burger buns. Another example is how some animals grow a winter coat to keep them warm through the colder months, conversely domestic chihuahuas are more likely to be turning into blanket burritos.
