Ah, the great paradox of the modern workplace. Many of us find it very difficult to live with it, but we also couldn't live without it. It's a testament to the power of money that there are literally millions of people in the world who hate their jobs, but somehow manage to get up every morning and grind for them (and then slack off when they think that nobody's looking).
It's true, so much of the working world that we've all been indoctrinated into is just an elaborate excuse to keep us in our place. Most realize this to some extent, but it's not exactly the kind of thing that is easy to escape. Instead, they find an acceptable outlet in complaining about it. Memes are one of the most humorous ways to do this, so it's no wonder they remain popular. All that #MondayMotivation has never been more cynical.
