Unless you live in a secluded spot in the wilderness, you are constantly gambling with whom you end up neighbors with.
Maybe you end up next to LeBron and Roberta, those cool, laid-back neighbors who always have sugar handy when you run out. But, perhaps you wind up living next to Ken and Karen, the type of entitled folk who either grew up without any manners or never properly picked them up because of some kind of fluke in their personality.
Unfortunately, u/controversial_jelly ended up with the latter. And this is no regular case of entitled, either. No, these people are extraordinarily stuck up, the type who believe that they were born to be worshipped. They are also the type to buy a whole house, and then expect to use their neighbor's garden, bathroom, and kitchen while theirs is being installed. Because duh, every stranger's house is open when you aren't able to use yours, right?
OP was not having it, and despite these people's best efforts, OP refused to let them 'have what they want'. If only these new residents would have stopped there… but no, they literally entered OP's home, multiple times, without being invited in. That is what I, and the rest of America, and probably the world, would call 'trespassing'. And it is definitely not within their legal rights to do so.
