Everyone has at least ten cringe memories from high school and perhaps a few wholesome ones too. For me, it's mostly cringe but every so often I remember that one time I knocked my Halloween costume out of the park or when I got a big solo in chorus. For the most part, though, I'm just like everyone else. I was known for something, and that was being in the school plays. I was largely protected from ridicule, though, because my theater kid status meant I did have some cooler, older friends. But we all had our high school "roles" whether we liked it or not, and that was mine.

It could be worse! I could be like some of these Redditors, who shared what they were known for in high school via this r/AskReddit thread. Eventually it got to the point where it would do more harm than good to admit I was not from the future. During a specifically awful rehursal of a show the school was putting on, I was working lights up in the balcony as our Tech teacher (who couldn't take the musical disaster anymore) sat below at the director's booth. My senior year I missed 93 days of school (making my total well in excess of 200 days for high school).     Font - Laraib_2002 I was famous for being a good Singer (which is true) and also being the son of a Mafia boss (not true). Apparently someone saw a senior bowing down to me and saying sorry repeatedly. (which I don't know happened when). After that students were potraying me like a big shot. I didn't know how to say the river was dirty in Spanish but I knew how to say it was full of I thought about it and wrote the on river was full of the test.
