‘I Can’t Do This Anymore’: Top Dating App Conversations Gone South (October 4, 2023)

Hi there everyone, and welcome to another weekly dose of cringey dating app convos gone south. Every so often I find myself swiping through the various dating apps on my phone out of boredom, secretly hoping that this time will be different, that the algorithm won't throw me to the sharks, and that I will find the love of my life, or at the very least, someone with the slightest bit of potential to be the love of my life. You know you do it, too… And you also know how bad it is out there. People blame 'modern dating', but I would not be so quick as to praise dating back in the day. Remember the stigma of divorce? Yeah, they would have rather been miserable forever than break up. God forbid we ever dare crave happiness.

To conclude, of course there are ups and downs, pros and cons etc to nowadays dating, but sometimes you have to wade through a sea of rotten fish to stumble upon a mermaid.
