If you have to fight for a parking space at work, your employers are not taking care of you. That was certainly the case for this Redditor, who worked in security at a luxury hotel that had one parking lot for all employees and guests. When his employers updated the policy to ensure that at least one-fourth of the spaces were reserved for employees, OP and his coworkers were told to apply for parking permits. Now, if you don't necessarily drive the same car to work every day, you would run into trouble just like OP did.
Thankfully, he wasn't the type of guy to blindly comply with silly rules. He found a loophole through his boss, who told him that permits should be transferable from vehicle to vehicle provided that it's the same driver. However, each time he drove to work with a different vehicle, he needed to undergo a whole process. Well, OP was willing to do that if it meant that he would exhaust the parking folks to the point that they would give in and make various permits for each of his cars.
