The "luxury" of flying has very much ended. Back in the day, you'd get on a flight and it was paradise in the sky. Now, you spend half your paycheck to go a couple of states over, you get zero respect, and you get even more money drained out of you as possible. Oh, you weighed your bag before you left to make sure it would fit? WRONG. You paid extra to get more foot room? Don't care.
It's a story we hear too often, but this one on Reddit really had us seeing red. A couple paid extra so they could sit together with more comfortability. They got moved without even telling them, then when the husband went to see what was going on they said it was in the fine print that they could move them anyways with no refund. They couldn't do anything but be separated and in middle seats, to make it worse.
Then as they're sitting there already upset they see a Karen couple walking in, the wife is already complaining. But then the husband reminded her that he complained and go them the seats that were supposed to be OP's and his wife.
The airline didn't do a thing about it. Why did they side with them? Would you have said something to the Karen couple? These stories really get our goat. Read for yourself below!
