When you order online, you do so at your own peril. It's a learning experience: can you really buy that $200 blanket for $2? Could a new gaming console really cost just $15 plus shipping? You know the saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"? That definitely applies here.
These people shared the purchases that were their biggest L's. The one that is the most insane to me is the person who tried to order a cactus shaped cat tree. Instead of a perch for her feline friend, she just got two bags of yarn---nothing else! Luckily, cats love string, so it's not even really a failed purchase. To her cats, she's going to be an amazing owner who got them not one, but two toys.
These days, it seems like a lot of people are aware of places like Wish, but people do still order things off of Instagram or Tiktok shop. Haven't we learned from the pink sauce incident? You have to be cautious who you give your money to on these interwebs.
