Having pets is such a weird thing to do. We literally have animals living in our home, often roaming free, and we just go about as if that's totally normal. I know that my families domesticated golden retrievers who have never lived in the wild likely aren't going to suddenly act like coyotes or wolves, but they very well could if they wanted to. I know they don't have a fighters instinct beyond growling at teenagers walking by the house, but you never know what's going to push them to their limit! One day, one of those teenagers might make a noise! What then?
I just find it amusing that domesticated dogs evolved from such wild animals. Well, I guess they didn't evolve. Some Scottish freak decided to breed dogs so much that they turned into the medically complex beings we own today. If you live with an animal and aren't even a little freaked out by it, then these animal memes might be to your liking
