Font - She is not my boss but constantly looks over my shoulder, telling me how to change my work. She is rude to the people we work with overseas online. She does it all on speakerphone and ignore

Product - She also swears at her computer, verbally responding to emails she doesn't like. Talks over her breath while reading her work constantly.

Smile - I told her many times to please stop and she got saying she doesnt 'jump to.my tune' and complains of having to ' walk on eggshells around me' as she isnt accustomedto modifying her behaviour for anyone.

Font - The company is tiny, the owner insanely, pitifully cheap. So I'm thr first person in years that is able to cover her work. She is desperate for vacation and recently booked a long trip to Hong Kong for 2.5 weeks.

Font - She doesn't know yet I was recently offered a way better full time job through someone I've worked freelance for in the past. My freelancer is understanding if I was to wait a bit before i end my current employment as my coworkers holliday is in 2 weeks.

Organism - But I think I'll give my notice early. Our boss is a huge a le and my coworker hates his guts and it should be an interesting fallout as if she goes on holiday and there is no one else who can do her job. She will have a total meltdown.

Font - not-rasta-89135 hr. ago Good for you. If I landed a job and then found out my coworker hasn't had a vacation in 3 years, I would start looking for a new job immediately.

Font - September, she had made plans to take a vacation since I was there but then canceled making further plans because this project is so crazy I can't in good faith leave it now'. Myself and a few others told her to just go and leave it. But she

Font - canceled her holiday and told me that,' she felt better knowing she made the right choice.' I kid you not - the head person leading the project on the other side then took her own holiday

Font - for 2 weeks. I said, 'I told you so'. And she would tell anyone she knew about her sacrifice and her sole dedication to the work. Everyone else was an idiot. Bet she will wish she took it then.

Font - Sproose_Moose 1 hr. ago Exactly this plus if the co- worker has her holiday booked OP leaving shouldn't interfere with it. It's the bosses problem to fill the slot.

Font - ivapesyrup 45 min. ago Sounds more like you have never worked at an actual job if you think their vacation plans are locked in lol. Nothing is locked in especially at a smaller company until you are literally on the plane leaving the country.

Font - no_nonsense_2066 hr. ago quit and tell your boss why you're leaving because of her behavior 398 Reply Share ... TheDocJ 3 hr. ago And tell her that you are leaving because of her behaviour, too, so she knows that she has made her own bed to lie in (rather than the bed in the hotel in Hong Kong....)

Font - Thoraxe474 2 hr. ago Doubt she will properly comprehend that. People like her refuse to believe they can be at fault 50 Reply Share TheDocJ 2 hr. ago Maybe, maybe not. What people comprehend, and what they will admit to comprehending can be very different!

Human body - Edded Time 1 hr. ago A coworker not having a vacation in 3 years should immediately be enough reason to find another job

Font - PsychologicalBit5422 6 hr. ago Just put in resignation Not your problem 240 asap and leave. Reply Share xRehab 47 min. ago Forget any "notice". Go in today and inform them you're quitting, pack your and leave. Don't give an explanation, don't entertain them. OP has a better work life waiting for them, they don't owe the old one anything.

Font - mexicanred1 16 min. ago True. There's not going to be a good reference coming from this job even if she puts in two weeks. Due to these circumstances they are always going to remember her leaving at a bad time.
