Ahhhh, the fated "pizza party" trope. Nobody knows why, but CEO's and bosses seem to think that the silver bullet solution to any problem in the workplace is to load up their employees with carbs. Although it's true that everyone likes pizza and pizza parties can be sort of fun in the workplace, it's certainly not a end-all-be-all solution to widespread issues at work. 

Pizza won't solve the wage gap, pizza won't prevent people from quiet quitting, and pizza certainly does not replace a raise. 

However, companies continually have the audacity to throw a slice at the problems in the workplace. Could it be any worse? Absolutely. Scroll for this disrespectful display of 'congratulations' from a company that reached record-breaking revenue due to the hard work of their employees.
