Happy Halloween, Trekkies! I don't want to be controversial, but I think dressing up as a Star Trek character is one of the easiest things you can do for Halloween. I guess it could either be the most basic costume or the most difficult and involved one, depending on which character you choose. If you're a regular hot guy wearing a yellow shirt and telling people you're Captain Kirk, I'm sorry, but you're not invited to my Halloween party next year. With Spock, it's all about the hair and the ears. I will be impressed by a Spock costume if I can't tell where the fake ear begins and the real ear ends. The most impressive Star Trek costumes are obviously all of the non-Vulcan aliens. I would love nothing more than to see an 'alien of the week' character from the '60s series at my costume party.
