With Thanksgiving coming up, I'm sure we've all got food on our minds. I am usually not the best person to be in the kitchen with Dinah, but one year, I substantially contributed to cooking up a Thanksgiving meal. It was Thanksgiving 2020, and two of my roommates and I were staying at our apartment instead of making a pilgrimage home. We made so much food for only three souls; it was unbelievable. We made cornbread casserole, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a delicious plate of turkey meatballs instead of the bird itself. We drank red wine and sat on the floor, and it was divine. We watched Planes, Trains, And Automobiles after the meal, making it a Friendsgiving we'd never forget. Whether you're cooking, eating, gathering with family, or staying home this holiday season, I hope holiday meats aren't the only thing that's marinating for 2-24 hours!
