"We adopted a father (Tigger) and daughter (Molly) duo. Tigger adores Molly but he has been very scared of us. We think he was ab*sed by his previous owner and used as a stud. He started to let me sit next to him and stroke him without him freaking out. Last night while I was watching TV in bed he sat between my legs, stretched out and laid his head on my leg, he's the long boi in the picture, if he's sitting up and I rub his belly sometimes he'll just lay down and roll over for my belly rubs. He still won't purr, he's a silent cat (but I've caught him making gentle biscuits in the air) he only yowels for Molly because he misses her. She's never far, but she's a sassy b*tch, she sits with us and ignores him. Molly took no time at all settling with us, Tigger still isn't 100%, but he's showing progress. I just wanted to share how happy I am"
"We have had him for a few months now. He has been the sweetest cat to my young daughters. It turns out he was a stray in my neighborhood that we had just never ran into.
He had some bad neck wounds but, after some treatment, he's a healthy and happy boy."
"On our usual trek home, me and my friend spotted a tiny black dot on the curb outside a parking lot. We got closer to see a kitten cold and alone, it's mom nowhere to be found. We couldn't bear to leave him alone in the rain so we reluctantly took him home to our tiny apartment and nurse him back to health.
He's healthy now and scarfs down food like there's no tomorrow. We took care of him for a few weeks until my friend, who has a cat back home, adopted the little guy. I own two dogs and he's the first cat I've taken care of."
