It's a question that humans have pondered for millennia: why is it that cats are so darn funny? It could be their holier-than-thou (c)attitude, or the way in which they simply refuse to be embarrassed. There are also the many funny noises they make, and their predisposition to all kinds of goofy and hilarious behaviors.

Ultimately, it's probably a combination of all these factors that allows our feline friends to be at the forefront of animal humor for their two legged servants. It also helps that cat people were some of the earliest adopters of being Extremely Online, and so they got a head start in being part of the meme ecosystem that we know and love today.
