As artificial intelligence, commonly known as A.I., becomes larger and more integrated with everyday life, things are going to get weird. At this point in the internet, we know A.I. is here to stay, but we aren't quite sure how to properly integrate it into businesses or our personal lives. Teachers are reading A.I.-written papers that their students have turned in, and some business people have resorted to letting an A.I. do their work for them, while they rake in the benefits. And now, in a move that was predictable but still kind of awful, this person has good reason to suspect that their ex-partner wrote them a breakup note using artificial intelligence.
Maybe this will become common in years to come---after all, lots of people just aren't writers. They want to write a nice note, but don't know how, and instead of looking up information, they just let A.I. take over.
But, as you can probably guess from reading this dude's message below, the results are far from perfect. There's some weirdness and repetitiveness, not to mention the almost emotionless way the note sounds. While people still aren't sure about this, it seems indicative of our future soon to come.
