It doesn't take Gen X and millennial gamers to see that the gaming industry evolutions with one step forward and two steps back. Even games being released now have very obvious issues. Back in the day, the issues tended to only be glitches. Now, there are an array of issues, starting with glitches and going as far as ads being too loud. Seriously, what is up with that? Did they forget that most dedicated gamers use headphones? There are many issues that games old and young have with the current "modern standards" for games. Not just the annoying unskippable loud AF logo pages, but also the constant unnecessary open worlds or the need to make everything an online game, even if it's not two player. And, lordy lord, don't get me started on the "battle passes."
