whit3d3vil1427 min. ago daily/weekly "required" missions with time gates. I This is an excuse to not make content. Instead of making a game with 6 months of stuff to do... 3 months of stuff to do.....they just make a weeks worth of stuff to do, and make you do it over and over and over.

shadeandshine 9 min. ago The idea games have to be always updated and eat your time. Not every game needs to evolve sometimes we just need something done well and that's it. Not every game needs to be a mmo. A example is the assassins creeds games they are good but they made materials such a grind it's a container mmo

jojopotattoo 27 min. ago ● The fact we pay for internet to our isp, yet have to pay to play online, pay for the consoles, games, dlc, expansions, monthly sub to play the game at all even after buying the game itself and paying for all these other things (final fantasy online being a good example). Or subscriptions for private servers when we should

have offline access to play games which would then allow us to play it single player on our own (fallout 76 for example). We have to pay at least 2x to play online and then pay more on top of that to play it without a bunch of griefers on the same session. We should have offline options, and we should not be charged to play online games after already paying to have internet access. If

people want to pay for the game services like cloud streaming and monthly catalogue then that should be an option. Or at least make it reasonable, Nintendo is $35 a year for a family pass. PS and XBox charges double that for their core subs. They are basically milking us for every penny, when they are far from hurting when it comes to profits.

They could at least pay their devs and other employees better wages if they are gonna keep raking it in from the player base.

ET1997 37 min. ago Not a fan myself, but the yearly money printer of not only sports game releases, but the multiple versions, battlepasses, DLCs and gambling that go along with them. It's been proven time and time again that there is very little work put in to actually improving the game itself and the main focus is

tricking people into giving the game company more money *cough, cough EA* Here's an idea for DLC, how about giving your poor programmers a break and let them work on an REAL game update for like 2 years and let players buy a roster update for some reasonable amount of money in the meantime? Like $5 or $10?
  • 15
Hopefully people are getting fed up with this nonsense and it'll change. But the literal billions the game company has been making off of poor suckers doesn't bode well.

master_of_tarantela2 · 40 min. ago Excessive amounts of hand holding. When I installed the Witcher 3 I was expecting something akin Gothic 2: an open world that rewarded exploration. Instead I usually found myself looking more at the minimap than at the actual game, following the breadcrumb trail.

Also opening the main map was a horrible experience full of uninspired black and white icon markers showing EVERYTHING. It felt like opening google maps more than a medieval map.

Eladryel 1 hr. ago edited 1 hr. ago ● Autoaim-level aimassist in FPS games. I refunded Saint Row when I found out, I cannot even turn it off, and I tried to play it with a mouse. I get it, every wants to play like streamers in online shooters, so the game practically aims for them, but still, it just makes me hate the whole genre.

Colecams20 1 hr. ago Battle Pass for sure and Quantity over Quality. Games either are pushed out and rushed way too fast or there are the games that are made to get live support for a while and try to shove micro transactions down your throat. The best age of gaming in my opinion was when you got a single player

game for say, it was put together with care and time and when you finished the game you could almost expect a dlc for it and it would be put together with care and time, not slammed together last minute because they made money and they say it's the sequel game while also adding a battle pass and micro transactions.

RantMannequin - 2 hr. ago While I love the modding community, It's become a crutch for developers. Bethesda put out a half-finished product in Starfield and mentioned how long modders will be able to support the product. My PC wouldn't run the new requirements so i was forced to play on Xbox where the mods don't work.
