Listen… we would like to preface this by saying that we love animals. A lot. Possibly an unhealthy amount. We think that animals are awwdorable, that they are simply the cutest and purest things in the world. And we think animals are hilarious, that they brighten our day each and every day just by being themselves. But at the same time… as people who love animals as much as we do, we also have to admit that, sometimes, every once in a while, rarely, animals are jerks.
That doesn't mean that we love them any less! In fact, the opposite is true. Animals being jerks every once in a while simply makes life all that much more interesting. If these adorable and funny creatures were pawfect 100% of the time, life would just be boring. So we must be thankful to all of their sides, including the jerk-y ones.

"The tabby is an old man called Tinker, the other cat is called Jake, he isn't quite as old but Tinker starts the fights 99% of the time. He has no patience left for the younger generation…
Tinker (foreground) didn't like me when he first met me! He used to bite and slap me all the time, but after a year or two something changed and he follows me around the house wherever I go and he meows at me because he wants to sit and cuddle on the sofa every day, it's strange how when you bond with an animal you know exactly what they are asking for. Jake isn't quite the same but he's very cuddly."
"She is an Elkhound. Not many people recognise the breed (at least not where we live). We once got asked if someone had crossed a husky with a corgi! She's on the small side for an Elkhound but still within the normal breed height."
