Making memories is one of those Hallmark catchphrases that is genuinely very important. We wouldn't love our family and friends like we do if we didn't have the experiences to back it up. As a result, many people want to take photos on special occasions. The catch is that these days that goes hand in hand with the bogeyman of our screentime.
This is something that has recently caused controversy on Twitter. After a pair of new parents shared a video of their extended family meeting their baby, one poster despaired at the "dystopian" sight of several people recording the scene as they entered the room.
While some viewers agreed with that assessment, others wondered why it was such a big deal even if it wasn't really necessary to have that many people recording. One thing's for sure, living in the moment is something that means different things to different people.
