I wonder what goes on in landlords' heads when they evict somebody.
Do they think about what the grueling process might be like for the evictees? Do they feel sorry for them? Or do they think that they deserved it? Whatever the case may be, I find it intriguing. This landlord attempted to take advantage of his tenants by evicting them with 7 days' notice. He reminded them that any and all equipment that they would be unable to bring with them in that time period would legally become his own. To make matters worse, he already assumed they would not be able to vacate the property, so he began advertising their equipment to future buyers!
When the tenants caught a whiff of that, they couldn't believe it. Why end things on such bad terms? Moreover, why and how did the landlord think he was going to get away with it? The tenants got to work, making sure that not only would the landlord not get their stuff, but he would also deeply regret trying to mess with them.
Then, check out this tenant who used her knowledge of greenhouses to get back at her landlady who pulled her herbs out of her garden.
