Woman Walking Her Dog on the Beach Stumbles Upon a Washed Up Wallet, Turns Out It's the Wallet She Dropped Overboard Last Year

Sometimes the universe gives you a break—maybe it's a year later—but right when you're about to give up, you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Tides are a funny thing. Sometimes they work with you and sometimes they work against you. Either way, they are very important for our waters. When this water-savvy Canadian lost her waller overboard, she thought maybe she still had a chance she could find it. She thought that either the coins in her wallet made it sink to the bottom or that the tides would eventually wash it back up on the shore.

However, after hiring a diver to search for her wallet on the bottom to no avail and waiting a year for it to wash back up, she was about to give up.

Usually, when someone loses a wallet in a large body of water, you just move on. It's really unlikely you will see that wallet again. But this woman, even when she was about to give up hope, still held out just a little longer—and it paid off.

Recently, she was walking her dogs on the shore and what did she see? In shock, she realizes that her wallet is sitting in the sand amongst some sticks and debris. She was shocked but excited—there were some cards she actually never replaced because she was still holding out for the return of her wallet.

She showed her ID and CBC even interviewed the diver she hired last year to find it. So, we have a real-life example of the universe giving someone a break. It's inspiring, tbh!
