Chemistry is one of those courses that you're required to take. There aren't that many people passionate about the pieces of the world fitting together in a mathematically proven way, but for those of us who are the nerds who excelled in chemistry, biochem, and chemistry theory, there's a special place at the weirdo table waiting for us to claim a seat. 

Despite that poster of the periodic table of elements that's still blue-tacked to the wall of our childhood bedroom, chemistry lovers are actually really cool. Chemistry is the only STEM course that's required by literally every discipline because it teaches even the squirreliest of engineers planning on becoming a Tesla designer had to sit through a course or two of chem. For those of us who got to pull ahead of the crowd when it came to balancing equations and memorizing the Kreb's cycle, we salute you.
