In hard times, our worth and value become evident. The way a person handles others in trying circumstances speaks volumes. So, while I don't want to jump the gun, I'm quite sure that I'm a terrible person. There is no patience in me when I'm nervous or angry.
The story below is of a front desk worker who unfortunately meets the Karen of the century. The Karen in question enters the room totally oblivious of what is going on. OP, however, doesn't let her insults get to him; instead, he keeps calm and collected. She really let it all out, I have to say. So, from one customer service representative to another, kudos! I have no idea how you managed to do it. I mean, I can't even begin to count the number of times that silly Karens have caused me to lose my cool. But it's not about me!
