Is it a fireable offense to snap at your boss? Or is it a normal human slip-up that happens from time to time? I would go with the latter, but some managers take it as an insult to their authority. The insecure managers. The manager that would throw you under the bus the second you get just a little on their nerves. Unfortunately, there are many managers like this out there running things. So what do you do? One young Redditor asked this exact question.
She works in the health industry and is quickly learning the ropes of her career. She graduates college soon and has a job that isn't her favorite but is willing to stick it out until her real job begins after she graduates in several months. However, her upper management is proving that sticking it out is harder than it sounds. She is getting more and more frustrated because the supervisors who are supposed to come to relieve her after her shift are always late and don't show any remorse about it. This forces her to work past her shift hours with no breaks and she has had it. In the height of her frustrations, she let upper management have a piece of her mind without holding back. Now, after some time has settled and she's cooled off, she's wondering if maybe she went too far. What do you think?
