We adopted our awwdorable baby kittens when they were only a few weeks old, and once our partner came into our lives, he definitely learned to love them, but he knows that the kitties come first, and he comes second. He's not jealous about it, but some people just can't handle the heat of being second to a cat. This comical cat pawrent took to Reddit to say that her boyfriend broke up with her because he couldn't handle being the "second choice" to her cat. Fragile ego, much?

It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's Super Orange! Honestly, we get why the ex-boyfriend was intimidated - this cat is outrageously handsome and silly to boot! Purrhaps she should have made tissue paper capes for both of them, then he wouldn't have felt so left out. They could have played super heroes together!

See? It's okay, there's plenty of love to go around, and if the cat ends up loving your partner more, just adopt another cat! There is a very simple solution to these kinds of things, and no room for fragile egos anywhere. More cats and less emotionally-stunted men in 2024, please.
