Person Sees An Injured Bird On The Road And Decides To Help It, Only To Find Out That It Was Actually Not A Bird At All

You know, we, as animal people, encourage others as much as possible to help out animals in need. Whether it's an itty bitty injured kitten that needs rescuing, or a tiny helpless doggo who got stuck somewhere and needs help, or even an octopus who could use a helping hand. It doesn't matter what animal it may be, we want people to - when they see said animal - tp stop what they are doing and help. We want that instinct embedded so deeply into the souls of humans that they will stop their car, get out and do everything they can to help out. 

Stories like that are some of our favorites ever. Happy animals, happy endings, happy us. But… moments like these don't always turn out how we want them to. They may turn out bad, they may turn out great, or… they might turn out hilarious. Like the stories in this thread.

    We saw the number of views that this tweet had, and we knew that meant it was going somewhere unexpected, and yet… we we still did not expect this. We thought that we need to prepare ourselves for tears - of joy or sadness, we didn't know yet. But tears of laughter… not where we thought this was going.
