Asscela Express @biz_socks Follow I also understand and am not dismissing the outsize safety threat that women face but just one of these measures should be more than enough to offer increased protection and peace of mind. This is now a safety hazard in case she needs to escape.

Asscela Express @biz_s... 26 Dec 23 Like she didn't even check the balcony first. What if there was someone out there? She basically locked herself in with an intruder. .

HTTP'Lovecraft @HTTP_Lovecraft. 3d Other discourse aside, I pick locks and carry a whole bunch of other pentesting tools and lock bypasses. I can't think of a single way to defeat this. This is brilliant, and it apparently costs $12. There are other ones for less. Very neat. Definitely buying one.

Mel @ThegirlMelo Men are furious she's safe. LOOK CAREFULLY.... They're claiming all sorts of other reasons...but fundamentally- they're angry she's protected.... 3d ●

lauren @Very__Regular 4d do we think this many people have always had deep seated paranoid disorders and social media only now promotes us for sharing them, or are they are a product of recency themselves

lauren @Very__Regular - 4d Replying to @Very__Regular personally i think the key to understanding the whole thing is that it's a one minute video that tells you to buy three different things

michael wave @SzMarsupial. 4d e man you used to have to make whole horror movies set in eerie suburbs to express the fear some of the safest people in the history of the world feel that they are in fact in constant danger from strangers, now you can just tiktok it

clo @chloehenryxxo . 4d I stayed in a hotel once where my boyfriend was meeting me 2 hours later. I took a nap and woke up to him standing over me with a room key he obtained from reception simply by giving them my name. Precautions like this are not at all unnecessary

let's try calling me 'november' @AliceAvizandum whenever I see anything like this I'm like, what if you have a heart attack in there? what if you fall and break something?

inqilab @tastefullysaucy. 4d At the last hotel I slept at 2 weeks ago, I was too tired to do all this but I remembered the chair trick & pushed the chair to the door. I was woken up by the sound of the chair being pushed because one of the hotel male staff was fidgeting with it to get into my room.
