'Someone please get this Karen fired': Girl with fainting disorder gets accosted by employee in the midst of a medical emergency due to having a service dog

Another ‘Classic Karen Alert’ for everybody out there. This time it's in the form of a Karen employee. It all started when a girl with a fainting disorder called ‘Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome’ aka POTS walked into a Walmart in Ohio with her service dog. 

TikToker tandem_in_pink often posts about her experience with her service dog. The creature is a medical device for her condition to alert her of oncoming fainting spells. This gives her enough time to sit down and prevent her from fainting and cracking her head on the ground etc. But for some reason, not everyone can grasp the importance of a service animal.

The girl immediately had issues with employees after entering the store. Her dog was not wearing any indication that it was a service animal, but legally the dog does not have to wear one. They are allowed to ask what the dog's duty is, but nothing further. The service dog alerted her, so the girl did exactly what she was supposed to do, and sat down on the ground to prevent injury. 

This is when one employee turned into a Karen. She started accosting her, demanding she get the dog's vest and demanding she get up off of the floor. The girl kept telling her that she has a fainting disorder, so naturally, if she were to stand at that point, she would faint. Her service dog was there to protect her from falling. But this Karen was not understanding. 

Eventually, the Karen employee agreed to get her a chair to get her off of the floor, but it didn't seem like the subject of the TikToker's service dog was off the floor. Can we get service dog education in everyday conversation so that people can understand their importance and how to act around one, please??
