If there is one thing that every single cat owner out there can truly understand… it's the madness of bringing your cat to the vet's office. Our cats are nervous, we're nervous, the vet's office is full of other crazy cat people that we have to deal with. Your cat will hide from the vet, from other cats, from other dogs, from- sigh. Going to the vet with your cat is an adventure, it just is. Sometimes, going to the vet with your cat is a funny experience, and other times, it's really not.
But what we think is one of the worst, most ridiculous kinds of cat vet visits are ones where the vet… fails. Why? Because the cat wins. Sometimes, the cat is so heckin' feisty that even a train human professional cannot handle their madness. And then the whole trip is for nothing… but at least you might have a funny story to tell later on.

On the one hand… we agree. We've been there. Cat needs bloodwork done, vet can't draw the blood, and it's frustrating. It is. We understand. On the other hand… we know our cat, and we are in the room when the vet tries to do what needs to be done, and you know what? Considering who our cat is, we kind of feel bad for the vet, actually.
This. Yes. We are pretty sure that we are even worse than our cats when it comes to going to the vet. Not because we're not well-behaved or anything… sort of. We're mostly difficult because if our cats are nervous, then we are nervous, and the one who suffers the most is… you guessed it, the vet.
