‘Take your shirt off in public’: Discussions About Gender Differences For the Dos and Don’ts of Society

In a way, society is a strict organized way of functioning. How could anyone do anything if there weren't rules, laws, or social mores to keep everyone on the same page. This also applies to social expectations for men and women; men are expected to behave, dress, or speak one way, and women another. 

So where's the line, and why are these rules applied to the given genders? These are questions that go back in time, and answers may induce sleepless nights of studying sociology. Since there's no time for that, let's play a game. A game in which you can imagine yourself as the opposite gender, just temporarily. And if you were the opposite gender, what would you want to do that you feel you can't as the gender you are? Some might say that they'd like to cry in public or go around shirtless. Regardless, there are still social expectations on the genders, and fortunately or unfortunately, this crazy world of inequalities continues to make us think and laugh about it all. 

Here's to the gender dos and don'ts.

    I never considered this, but I saw a guy talk about how he was at a park with his kid and another kid came up to him and started talking and he was having a conversation with this kid

    I know girls who hug, kiss each other on the cheek, hold hands and basically cuddle and it's all totally platonic and not wierd, no one really bats an eye.
