There are two types of travelers: people who know how to plan ahead, and people who do everything at the last minute.
Maybe you have a person like this in your life. They're the traveler who gets a list of items to pack two months in advance. Then you find them scouring the internet for hiking shoes the day before the trip. This is the same person who is still shoving things in their suitcase as the taxi is pulling up to take you to the airport.
Worse are people who miss their flights. Some folks strongly believe that going to the airport three hours early is for chumps. Instead, they'll plan to breeze through security 20 minutes before the plane departs. They might make the flight or they might not, but they won't put any effort in to change the outcome.
This person told the story of what happened to their supervisor, who couldn't help but plan her trips last minute. The issue was that she waited until so late that her poor employee was stuck trying to book her flights. At least the employee was able to get back at their terrible boss---seems like she'll never enjoy her travels again, so long as u/ItsCoolImWithTheBand has a say in it.
