As the world gets crazier, more and more of us are turning to therapy. It's a great option to have someone to talk to who's not your friend or family member. After all, we don't pay them to listen to our nonsense. And nor do they want to be paid for that distinct privilege. I personally think everyone could benefit from a therapy sesh, especially to air their work grievances. Who doesn't have a couple of complaints about their line of work? I also think it'd be a great idea for companies to sponsor therapists for their employees. After all, some of them provide health insurance, and mental health is arguably the most important kind of health. And happy employee, happy company, right? Everybody wins.
In this case, though, the therapy worked so well that it completely backfired on the boss who suggested it. Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways.
