I remember back when I was a kid, I would wreak absolute havoc on my poor mother. If she denied me candy at the grocery store, I would flip out, throw myself on the floor, and scream my little lungs out. Looking back, I can see how embarrassing (and frankly annoying) that would have been for her. But hey, you never know just how awful you were until you have kids of your own.
