Home sweet home, where tornadoes soar and the people hide their seasonally-induced misery with folksy charm and copious amounts of cheese. The Midwest is the heartland of America. Some people may call us "flyover states" but those people are just misguided coastal elites who can't appreciate a well-fried cheese curd. Midwest culture may seem bland and vibeless, but I think it's quite the opposite.
Not only does the Midwest have scores of historical landmarks, natural beauty, and good food, it also has a welcoming feeling that's rarely found elsewhere. Sure, southerners are famous for their hospitality, but have you ever seen a fight between two Iowa natives? Me neither. If it happened, it was so hidden by euphemisms and smiles that I didn't clock it. Lucky that there are some good ol' folks out there that feel the same way I do, and have provided us with meme fodder to remind us of home. Go on ahead, hon.
