It's the first week of February, and you know what that means? It means everything is going to be hearts and love-themed until the end of the month. Oh yes, Valentine's Day is fast approaching and it is all we're going to hear about for the next couple of weeks.

I was never big on Valentine's Day, and even when I had romantic partners in the past it was never really a priority of ours to go out or do something special on this day. Everything about it is way too commercial for me and doesn't really feel like love is the thing that matters. Alas, I now have a loving boyfriend who is always up for a cause for celebration, so he is already deep in planning a fun Valentine's Day activity for the two of us.
