'Best $60 I ever made': Steak-eating diners get caught in torrential downpour after refusing to dine indoors

These diners bet against Mother Nature and lost badly. That's what happens when you think you know better than everyone around you! 

The weather is not something any of us can control. If we could, we'd happily stop hurricanes and tornados in their tracks. But of course, human beings can't stop hundreds of thousands of raindrops or snowflakes from falling to Earth. 

It's halfway through the 2020s, if we could have this technology, someone would've invented it by now. No, all we have for now is umbrellas and 10-day forecasts. It doesn't matter if you're on a big vacation or if it's your graduation day, a rainstorm can put a damper on that with ease. On a normal day, if you have an umbrella or rain jacket with you, you might barely notice the rain coming down around you. However, this group of nine diners decided that nothing was going to stop their dinner. They were content to eat some steaks and drinks while enjoying this fancy restaurant. It didn't matter to them that their waiter, u/iamjayjayisme, tried numerous times to tell them about an incoming issue. Some people are just convinced they're right 100% of the time. They certainly learned a lesson that day!
