Destination weddings have become increasingly popular lately, and for good reason. On one hand, a destination wedding can offer a unique and unforgettable experience for the couple and their loved ones. Sometimes, the wedding can even be cheaper for the newlyweds, especially if the destination has a lower cost of living.

On the other hand, there are some potential downsides to a destination wedding too. It can be more difficult and expensive for guests to attend, leading to a lot of declines in RSVPs. Planning a wedding from afar presents its own set of challenges too, from coordinating vendors to navigating legal requirements.

Okay, now what about this? A couple decides to have a destination wedding even though their guests have to pay a ton of money to fly out. Then, a few years later, they decided to have a second wedding. But here comes the twist: their brother is upset and doesn't want to pay to attend a second wedding, so he outs the couple and tells their entire family that the first wedding was fake. And as it turns out, it actually was.

She had the dress, the guests, the vows, just because there wasn't a license doesn't mean it wasn't a wedding. She doesn't get to have another one just because they didn't do it right the first time! I mean, truly, she can have as many as she wants, but she doesn't get to expect the same thought and guests and attitude. You don't need to go.
