"A woman saw the scene and decided to help him by bringing him to us, unfortunately the kitten had fractures, brain injury, has eaten bones and his stomach and intestines were horrible, he had herpesvirus that damaged his eye and a skin condition- he needed a lot of time and money to recover with low chance of surviving he was around 1 month old, euthanasia was chosen but the vet decided to give the kitten a chance and left it for treatment exactly when i was night shift, she told me "if he is alive in the morning, we will do further diagnostics and fight for his life". Well he survived and i couldn't help myself and ended up adopting him, his name is Bat because hid ears were so big compared to his body and he looked somewhat like a mouse. He is around 6 months old now.
There he is, transforming into a normal looking kitten."
"According to the cat feeders in our street, they've been feeding him for 9 or 10 years, making the vet's age assessment they little bit easier. Before moving from our rental, my partner and I decided to adopt him since we found him limping after the Christmas holidays. Even after recovery he's a super chill boy that likes to snooze on the bed and follow us around the house, for company! We're both glad to have him, especially after my parents' black cat had to be put down last year due to health complications.
He's got giant claws but he's a total softie, and makes the best biscuits around!"
