This one goes out to the people who have to deal with die-hard football fans on a regular basis. Perhaps this person in your life is your partner, and every Sunday night during football season is filled with lots of shouting at the TV. Perhaps it's a family member who refuses to talk about anything else at the dinner table, even when it's between seasons. Or if you're like this employee, perhaps that big football fan in your life is your employer and you simply cannot relate to their obsession.
Not only does that make for awkward conversation, but in this case, this boss's obsession ended up affecting the workflow for the week following the Super Bowl. That's because he decided to message his employee the morning after the Chiefs' win to announce that he won't be coming in and will be offloading all his work onto the Redditor. Not exactly the most mature move! While I cannot relate to this football obsession, I can say that I too will be upset after the Academy Awards if my favorite people lose. However, while I understand the sentiment, I would never make my coworkers' lives busier because of my weird fandom.
