'Hedge fund managers': The most useless and overpaid jobs, according to Reddit

If we're being honest, many of the jobs that exist in society today aren't exactly essential to the functioning of the human race. They could disappear tomorrow and the world wouldn't end. However, some of these roles are given more unwarranted status and compensation than others. Your average entry-level spreadsheet position isn't exactly going to make waves, but the supervisor's supervisor for this job? That's a whole other deal.

Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of people for whom this is a problem. This was the main takeaway from an AskMen thread which queried which kinds of work were the most overpaid and useless. Ranging from certain types of businesspeople to celebrities, nobody was safe from the judgment that they did not give back what they took out. It's pretty wild that most of these examples could be considered aspirational as well. Perhaps it is time for us to readjust our professional priorities.
