'This can't be real': Lawn care business owner puts entitled client in her place

One business owner was referred to a potential customer who has an entitled attitude. Mess with a professional and find out what happens, lady!

If your business is a big chain, customers might flock to you. But for smaller businesses with just one or two employees, word of mouth can keep your company alive. Especially in a business like lawn care, having a referral from someone who appreciated your work goes a long way. It's a great compliment to know you made someone's front yard look so nice that they told their friends to call your company. 

Not every person knows how to communicate properly, though. U/Snakesandsparklers1 got a referral, so they texted with this new client to determine what she needed. As she explains in the text messages, she has five acres of land that need upkeep. But the way she talks to this lawn professional is anything but professional. I don't know if I've ever seen someone write "Listen here" in a text message! This woman is mistaken if she thinks she'll get her lawn trimmed after this disastrous text exchange.     OⓇ A A lam a good business man but I don't sit well with someone telling me what you want to pay and expect me to do that when I haven't even seen your property. You can't expect me to show up within a couple days prior when I have a busy schedule. I won't do an acre for $40 so listen here.. no I'm sorry but I can't help you.
