Money, as a man-made concept and artifact, has such a strong hold on human emotion and decisions, it's the most common way to asunder relationships. While dealing with a death in the family, the last thing anyone needs is to lack the family support from other members. How is it so easy to see past love, and put greed first?

Getting an inheritance can be a lucky and generous stepping stone into a different financial bracket. I've seen people's lives 180 from such a happenstance event. Maybe luck isn't the right word, considering death is inherent in an inheritance. 

Take this situation as an example, a mother wants to take her daughter's inheritance because the money has been marred from its source of earnings (gambling). A funny thought, considering money is one of the dirtiest things on the planet, and every time we make an exchange we have no idea where this money has been, if it's been in the underwear of a stripper, or been used to snort something. Think about it next time you're holding cash.

    Money does weird things to people. As a mom, if my kid came into $700K, I'd be stoked. They could have a better start at life than I did. My best friend would also be stoked if I came into $700k. Her reaction is pretty telling.
