After decades of being a respected employee of a company, nobody ever questions your authority, that is, unless it's that overly ambitious ladder climber who just got hired in the engineering department. For some, humbly taking the appropriate avenues to advance your career just simply isn't fast enough, and to climb the corporate ladder a bit faster, they're willing to step on the necks of those who came before them.
For those entitled, over-zealous types, no job title will ever be satisfyingly senior and they like to ensure all of their coworkers are aware of their superiority–no matter who they have to disrespect around the office.
In our next story, a senior electrician, contented in his title and his authority, squashed the power-hungry jeers of a fellow peer. Although this particular 20-something-year-old engineer was a hot-headed mess, the electrician used his stoic wisdom to totally pop his bubble.
