Does it irk any of you guys when someone says that their epidural failed, so they basically gave birth naturally too? I have this one friend who always says that she gave birth unmedicated since her epidural failed I'm like Yes, that would annoy me 0 No. That's an unmedicated birth if the epi didn't work No it wouldn't bother me. Birth isn't a competition it wasn't unmedicated because Omedication was used despite it failing They birthed. With pain. With no pain. They pushed that baby out. depend

So the last time I went to a store, we spoke about my son's behavior in school. He's 7 and had severe adhd and has issues chilling out. They suggested these. Every 3 to 4 days with cbd in between. Said it would help him tremendously. Anyone else try these? potdots Sugar Shelled THC Infused Milk Chocolates 100 Pieces x 1mg Each | 100mg Total Potdots DREAM EDIBLES EDIBLES THC 1MG EACH 100MG TOTAL THC

Anonymous member Feb 18 Me and my sister are both single moms who live at home with our mother. It's toxic and I hate it here but I don't have any other options, I don't make hardly anything at my job and I'd never be able to afford a place alone. Anyway, me and my sister each have a bedroom upstairs and the thermostat has been a constant battle. I'm always hot, she's always cold. I want it on 69 a/c at night and she wants the heat on 24/7. I sweat and it keeps me up at night, where I don't slee

●●● Anon, us member • 8n. My 7 year old (severe ADHD) has not slept through the night his entire life. Every single night he wakes up 2-5 times just SCREAMING. How can I help him? We have hired a sleep consultant, met with neurology, his pediatrician, behavior pediatrician, OT, gastro, etc and nothing has helped him just sleep. He probably only averages 3-4 hours a night with all he wakes up.

OP asks if she's selfish for encouraging it because LITERALLY NO OTHER OPTION EXISTS PEEPUHL. Even an Admin steps in to say selfish is an understatement.

Feeling sad for my kid. We don't often get to see my stepdaughter (fought her mother in court for years). My son (turning 8 tomorrow) just wanted to see his sister for his birthday, he even suggested we drive the 2 hours to her city to see her. apparently she would rather go to school than see her brother. surely you could take a day off for your brother for his birthday? Usually we only see her half the school holidays. am I over reacting to think this is extremely selfish? . (for context she j

Blessed Why couldnt you have went on a weekend? Her education is important too 36m Like hald we homeschool our kids. We have some kids (and myself) who don't do well in crowds so we don't go places on weekends or school holidays. Also, it's his birthday tomorrow, he wants to celebrate on the day. 28m Like 18m Like 14 S you don't go places on the weekends and want to do this only disrupting her day not your kids bc they're homeschooled. I think you are over reacting a little, but I know it's hard when your kiddo is hurting. Why not make the drive on a weekend day when she's not in school? She's still young herself so I understand her not wanting to miss school. 26m Like Reply 16 Yes. You're overreacting. She's 12, and clearly has had a LOT of history between you and your husband and her mother. And, did I say she's 12? You're expecting a lot of selflessness, insight, and emotional intelligence from a child. 26m Like Reply 12 Do

exactly! My kids are like me and I hated to miss school. The older I got, the more I didn't want to miss school. Missing school meant playing catch up the rest of the week on assignments I missed and staying caught up. My kids are like this too. And they don't have near as much stuff now as I did then. They were gone for a week to travel for a funeral and they were not happy to be gone for that week. if spending time with her was so important, it should have been done over the weekend when she d

She's also 12 and 12 year olds are generally selfish because they're children and don't have the mental capacity of us, adults. I would definitely cut her some slack. 25m Like Reply Could potentially just be the environment that shes being primarily raised in unfortunately. Have you brought it up to your husband at all? 19m Like Reply yeah, I wouldn't care if he didn't but it's his birthday and I just don't think it's unreasonable if he wants all his brothers and sisters together. If it were up to me I wouldn't have even asked but he begged.

I don't think it's selfish for a child to want to go to school. I think her priorities are different than what you want them to be,

Am I understanding correctly that you expect your 12 year old stepchild, whose mother has primary custody, to skip school because that's Admin what your 8yo son wants? Comment If that's correct then yes, this seems selfish on your part. Even when I read this thinking maybe you were referring to a college student it wouldn't be reasonable, but a 6th grader? Yeahhhno. And why would it be up to the child to decide to skip school to begin with? The parent with physical custody typically is responsib

Coordinate with the child's mother for additional time on a weekend to celebrate your son's birthday with his sister. If she doesn't allow that, it sucks but that is the mom's decision, and it's important to teach 8yo to respect the boundaries of others even when we don't like them or disagree with them. 23m Like Reply Write a reply...
