Veterinarians are godsent. We need them. They have saved the lives of our cats an endless number of times. They have dealt with all of the things that our cats threw at them. Veterinarians have dealt with our cats hiding in the vet's office. They have dealt with our cats being chaotic as heck during their visits, zooming around the whole room and going crazy. They have had to deliver the hilarious news that the reason our cats have been feeling bad is because they were constipated and now you have to pay thousands of dollars for their hyper-expensive poops.
We love our vets, but we do have to remember that vets are human beings first, and human beings are not purrfect like our cats. We can only be glad that this specific story had a good ending, even after all the mistakes that were made.
Reading this thread for the first time filled us with so much rage and outrage. To think that the people who are supposed to take care of our pets were the ones that hurt it in the first place is beyond heartbreaking. We're only glad to know that everything turned out more or less okay.
We also have to say thank you to this sweet cat's owner. This was an incredibly difficult and stressful situation to go through - not just for the cat but for them as well. And they did amazing. Unwavering, regardless of the cost, they helped their cat, and we were so happy to read about it.
