If you are someone who has never had a pet and are thinking of getting one, you have to know one thing: pets are like babies - sometimes, there are unexpected costs to deal with. High costs. You cannot get stingy when it comes to certain things, and you can't doubt yourself about it. It kind of broke our heart when that one reddit user's girlfriend didn't want to pay 'unnecessary' money for her cat's care, and he had to fight her about it. Sometimes, you just have to. Now, this is a good owner. We are sure that, at the time, it hurt quite badly - both to your pocket and also because seeing your pet in pain is always a horrendous experience.
