It's often been said that men think about the Roman Empire at an unusually high rate. I was shocked when I first heard this meme about guys contemplating the Roman Empire at least once a week, if not more. I probably don't think about said period in history more than a couple of times a year, let alone multiple times a week. I felt that this was a wild revelation, but there are certain things I think of at least a couple of times a week that the average person would find alarming. I listen to a Dance Moms recap podcast once a week, which takes up at least an hour of my mental energy. I probably think about the signing of the Declaration of Independence more than the average human being. If you are a Roman Empire stan and are proud of it, you should let these Ancient Rome memes take up as much of your mental energy as you'd like.
